March 30, 2009 - Midvale, UT - Weidner & Associates (W&A) announced today that the company has reached an agreement with Fort-Washington, Pennsylvania-based Severn Trent Services to act as exclusive marketing & service representative for their ClorTecŪ on-site sodium hypochlorite generating systems, which are used for disinfection of both drinking water and wastewater. "While we've marketed Severn Trent's gas-feed chlorination systems since 2002, the addition of the ClorTec line to our product offering in Utah, Southern Idaho, and Southwestern Wyoming, strengthens our position in the water/wastewater treatment process instrumentation market," said W&A Vice President Brad Colligan.
The ClorTec on-site sodium hypochlorite system is a proven, cost-effective, reliable, and safe alternative treatment to chlorine gas and bulk sodium hypochlorite disinfection.
